Liposuction of the Neck (Facial Liposuction)

Excess fat beneath the chin is a problem for patients of all ages. With targeted liposuction, this area can be sculpted to produce a smoother, more youthful looking neck and jaw line. To remove the fat, a small incision is made beneath the chin and behind each ear. Using a device called a cannula, the fat is suctioned away. The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation. Some patients may benefit from a combination of liposuction, facelift and neck refinement procedure.
