What is Sculptra?

An injectable polylactic acid (latic acid occurs naturally in the body). Sculptra has been specially developed to help the body "fill in" the lines, wrinkles and depressions that develop naturally over the years by prompting your body to create its own new layers of collagen.

Sculptra works by stimulating the body's own collagen production. It also helps to create volume in a face that has lost volume through aging, loss of weight or illness.

Unlike other products currently available Sculptra is bio-degradable, bio-compatable, immunologically inert and non-allergic. Lasting effects up to 3 years after 3rd or 4th treatment. Most patients require 2-3 treatments spaced over a period of months for best response.
