On February 1, 2013 Dr. LaFerriere will be speaking at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His talks are sponsored by Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and The Office of Continuing Medical Education at UT Southwestern. The presenations will be: “Facelift-No Single Technique Fits All” and “The Role of Fat Repositioning in Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty.”

LaFerriere and Kienstra Facial Plastic Surgery was the "Ultimate" sponsor of the 2012 Price Cutter Charity Championship golf tournament, which raises thousands of dollars for local children's charities.
Dr. LaFerriere, a Face-to-Face volunteer, recently returned from a trip to Vietnam, where he donated his surgical expertise to further the organization's mission of helping one person at a time to overcome physical limitations imposed by birth deformities, domestic violence, and war. While there, he also taught Vietnamese surgeons how to deal with these challenges.
